History: (Inferior Five I #1) - Powerhouse was a member of H.U.R.R.I.C.A.N.E., a crime cartel that constantly warred with the do-gooders of C.O.U.S.I.N. F.R.E.D. When F.R.E.D. recruited the Inferior Five to take on H.U.R.R.I.C.A.N.E. Powerhouse helped capture Merryman and White Feather. The heroes soon escaped, and Powerhouse was defeated after Merryman broke his hip flask. Powerhouse and the other members of H.U.R.R.I.C.A.N.E. were sent to jail.
