Powers: Ravenna was a sorceress with ice-based spells. She could conjure blizzards, shoot ice from her hands, and controlled polar bears.

History: (Dragonlance #17, 19, 20) - During the Second Dragon War dragons ravaged the country, joined by the sorceress Ravenna. Ravenna's magic caused three straight years of winter in Solamnia, and after a quest Lord Sigmun and Wistan Dawnbringer of the Knights of Solamnia learned of her location in the woods. Her White Dragon attacked, killing Sigmun's son Alben, but Wistan chased it off after wounding it with a spear. They confronted Ravenna, who sicced her polar bears on them, and Sigmun was fatally mauled. Wistan got close enough to Ravenna to wound her side with a sword, and she fled, riding on the back of a polar bear. Wistan wanted to pursue her, but the other Knights of Solamnia insisted they needed reinforcements. Wistan went after her anyway, accompanied by two loyal knights, Collum and Hagen, who believed in him. They went in search of Ravenna's castle and were ambushed by Thanoi who killed Collum before succumbing themselves. The next monster to attack was a Frost Giant. Hagen lured the giant onto thin ice, and he crashed through into the freezing water, but before he drowned the Giant seized Hagen, dragging him underwater. Wistan confronted Ravenna in her castle, but she managed to mortally wound him with a sword. As he was dying he lept at her, sending them both tumbling out a castle window. Ravenna died, and because of Wistar's sacrifice spring finally came to Krynn.
