History:  (Welcome to Tranquility #2) - The Sampson Twins were maxi heroes who had the look of Greek gods, the ego to match and who spoke in faux-Old English. They made their home in Tranquility, a retirement community for the superheroes of yesteryear. Mr. Articulate was fatally stabbed with his own swordcane during a scuffle between Sheriff Lindo, the former members of the Liberty Squad and Emoticon and his entourage at the Chick’n Go, and Lindo was determined to find the killer. Mayor Fury, Colonel Cragg and Bad Dog made Articulate’s funeral arrangements, and went to the Fox Hole to drown their sorrow in beer. The Sampson Twins showed up to make homophobic comments about Articulate and generally be jerks. Fury and his friends got in a bar brawl with the twins, handling them easily. Sheriff Lindo showed up to arrest the twins, and Fury apologized for behaving so badly, but Lindo hugged him, saying he was standing up for his friend. The Sampson Twins were shocked that their actions had consequences.
