SONS OF LOBO

Membership: Sickbag, others unnamed

Base of Operations: Intergalactic

First Appearance: Lobo I #1 (November, 1990)

History: The Sons of Lobo were a gang that idolized and imitated the violent styling of Main Man Lobo. They were led by Sickbag, and when an unauthorized biography of Lobo, written by his fourth-grade teacher Miss E. Tibb, came out the Sons started tearing up bookstores on Blake-7 that sold it. They decided to kill Tibb for defaming Lobo, and went to Oneida VI, where she'd been arrested. Vril Doxc ofL.E.G.I.O.N. gave Lobo the job of escorting Tibb to Cairn, so the Sons changed their plan and just followed their idol to watch him at work. They learned he was going to be ambushed by Hell's Trukers, but convinced he needed no help they remained onlookers. The Oneida police force were after Lobo for killing Chief Bamuelss, and while chasing Lobo they collided with Hell's Truckers, causing a massive explosion. The Sons were still following, and knowing they couldn't escape the blast, they dove into it and died in a blaze of glory.
