History: (Challengers of the Unknown #54)-The Sub-Humans are residents of the Calculus Dimension summoned to Earth by the evil computer Brainex. Brainex and Villo wanted something to attract the attention of the Challengers of the Unknown, and the Sub-Humans fit the bill. The Sub-Humans went on a city-wide rampage, and easily bested the national guard and the U.S. Air Force. When the Challengers fought them they were nearly killed by the Sub-Humans. Villo demanded that Brainex return them to their home dimension, wanting the please of killing the Challengers for himself. When Villo and Brainex later had a falling out, Brainex once again summoned the Sub-Humans, this time having them wreck havoc across all of America. The Challengers were unable to defeat them in direct combat, but they theorized that since one computer program could summon them from the Calculus Dimension, another could get rid of them. Prof. Haley rushed to a local State University and built a computer to scan the Sub-Humans. Haley's computer solved the mathematical equation that powered the Sub-Humans, thus destroying them. I know this makes absolutely no sense, but what can you do?
