Powers: Terra had control over the earth, allowing her to animate it or generate earthquakes, lava flows, and mudslides.

History:  Tara Markov was the illegitimate child of Markovian royalty, and given powers through the scientific experiments of Dr. Helga Jace. She made an agreement with Deathstroke to pose as a hero so she could join the New Teen Titans, and destroy them from within.

(Blackest Night: Titans #1-3) - Hawk, Omen and Terra were resurrected as part of the Black Lantern Corps on Heroes' Day, a day of remembering fallen heroes. They were charged with ripping out the hearts of those emotionally affected by their resurrection, gathering their emotions and using them to help Nekron return and end life in the universe. The Titans and Teen Titans were gathered to honor their deceased teammates, and Terra approached Beast Boy, trying to convince him that she'd survived her apparent death and still loved him. She embraced him, getting close enough to attack. The Titans tried to keep her away from Beast Boy, but she used her powers to cause an earthquake that made Titans Tower fall into the earth. She was joined in her assault by Black Lanterns Tempest, Aqualad and Dolphin. Beast Boy destroyed Terra, telling her that even though she was an empty husk she was a phoney just like the Terra he remembered. He cursed himself for ever investing such emotional energy in her. He was a good man who saw the best in people, but she was irredeemable. The Black Lanterns attacked Dove, but her lifeforce connection permanently destroyed them. The surviving Lanterns fled, and the Titans realized the war was far from over. Troia said they needed to get Dove on the front lines.
