History

(Flash II #185 (fb)) - When Thinker died his consciousness was stored in his thinking cap. Mr. Terrific use the cap to design the JSA s security system, and the Thinker downloaded his consciousness into the JSA computer system.

(Flash Secret Files #3, Flash II #184-187) - Thinker expanded his consciousness through all of Keystone City s computer systems. Deciding he needed more room to think he took over the minds of most of Central City s inhabitants, using the unused portions of the human brain for storage purposes. Thinker interrupted a battle between Flash and the Rogues, claiming Flash was his. Flash fled, and the Thinker caught up with him first. He threatened to erase the minds of everyone he d taken over in Keystone, including Linda Park, unless Flash let him take over his mind. The Thinker saw Flash s brain as the world s fastest data processor, and wanted it for his own. Flash relented, and let Thinker take over his mind just as the Rogues found them. Thinker started running programs using Flash s mind so he could gain immeasurable knowledge and hopefully a purpose. The Rogues separated Flash from the Thinker, allowing Flash to escape. After fighting off the Rogues the Thinker caught up with Flash. Cyborg defended Flash, but Thinker defeated him. Cyborg had given Flash an idea of how to beat the Thinker, so he again let Thinker enter his mind. Flash sped up his thinking process to the point that the Thinker couldn't cope and was unraveled into raw data, erasing him for good.
