History: (Adventure Comics I #75) - “Fairy Tales” Fenton was a professor of metallurgy who turned to a life of violent crime. He used his inventions, including sheer body armor and an electrical hammer to pose as Thor, Norse god of thunder. He recruited a gang to act as his Viking seconds and made a dramatic entrance at New York harbor in his Viking ship. He robbed a bank and laid waste to the NYPD. Sandman and Sandy responded to the scene, but Thor beat them both, badly injuring Sandy with a hammer shot to the head. Once aboard his ship he stripped from his protective gear, knowing the police would be on look out for Vikings, not common criminals. His timing was bad, as Sandman and the NYPD spotted them, and without Thor’s metal bodysuit he was easy prey for Sandman, who avenged his partner by sending Thor to the hospital.
