Powers: Thoth was an immortal, invulnerable god of wisdom. His power depended on the worship of his followers, and as the gods of Egyptian mythology stopped being worshipped, his power declined. He created the Ibis-stick, a reality-altering magical wand, and could shape shift into ibis and baboon forms at will. He possessed scrolls that contained the wisdom of ancient Egypt.History: (Power of Shazam II #11 (fb)) - <circa 3,000 B.C.> Egypt; An infant prince was attacked by a cobra at the River Nile, but Thoth, god of wisdom, sent his avatar, an ibis, to protect him. This signaled Thoth choosing the boy to wield the Ibis-stick, a powerful talisman, and act as his agent on Earth as Ibis the Invincible. The boy grew up and became pharoah, married to his queen Taia, and used the Ibis-stick to keep peace in his land.
