Morrow designed the Tomorrow Woman, an android they programmed to gain the JLA’s trust, then blow up and kill the superteam. They gave her false memories and history of being a mutant with a four-lobed brain, the first member of a new species. Tomorrow Woman arrived at the JLA membership drive and was accepted on the team. They spent the week battling the IF (Implicate Field), a renegade weapon from the Lord of Time’s arsenal that used electromagnetic pulses to destroy everything in its’ path. The JLA had to shift its’ attention to the Miracle Babies, millions of children controlled by the Sole Jurisdiction to act as their militia. Tomorrow Woman found that she could reach into the minds of the Miracle Babies and remove the hate from their hearts. She felt a connection with them, both because of the hatred inside of them and their lack of free will. She told Ivo and Morrow she had to destroy the JLA right away, but they sent her on her way, telling her not to give orders to her creators. Tomorrow Woman defeated Taint, an agent of the Jurisdiction, and linked her mind with the JLA to increase her mental powers and free every one of the Miracle Babies from the Jurisdiction’s influence. She developed a code of ethics, and once her teammates unconditionally trusted her she couldn’t kill them. Instead she used the electromagnetic pulse weapon in her heart to shut down the IF, sacrificing her life in the process. Superman gave her a hero’s funeral in Valhalla, the superhero cemetery.
