History: (Jack Kirby’s Fourth World #13) - The Vendaricii were sentients of the planet Vendaricar, and they witnessed a Promethean Giant pass through their world. The giant, Prodigian, was accompanied by a mysterious robed stranger, and the New Gods Metron and Desaad. Metron had used his Mobius Chair to bend time and space to grow huge enough to communicate with Prodigian. They all wanted to discuss the events of Genesis that freed all of the Promethean Giants. The Vendaricii started a religion based on the planet sized beings, the Faith of the Four, and elected high priests to observe their cosmic guests. What took moments for the four was millennia for the Vendaricii, and they viewed the strangers as gods that kept their world alive. The four departed, and the Vendaricii feared the end of the world. After a harrowing few days, they realized their “gods’” disappearance did not herald the end of the world, and they got on with their lives.
