History

(New Adventures of Superboy #31, 32) - After a series of bizarre robberies Detective King disappeared during a press conference, being replaced by Whitefire. Whitefire was using Earth to store loot he took in his own dimension, but had to take Earthly items to bring home because of conservation of mass. Once the police of his world stopped pursuing him he made an appearance on Earth to reclaim his bounty. Christopher King turned into Power Punch, but had difficulty battling the villain because he was suffering from a cold. Vicki joined him as Sirocco, a heroine able to generate sandstorms, but Whitefire teleported her to his home dimension. She found that she'd lost her powers under the white-sun, but by turning back into Vicki she gained superpowers, defeating Whitefire's gang. On Earth Power Punch used his cold to his advantage, taking out Whitefire with a super-sneeze. He seized Whitefire's trident and used it to return him to his dimension and bring Vicki and Gregory back.
