Powers: Viking Commando possessed peak human strength, endurance, and speed and was a fierce combatant. He was armed with the steel battleaxe Iron Fang as well as guns and grenades.

History: A group of Huns raided Valoric's Scandinavian village, carrying of their king. Valoric and his men bravely defended the village, but were cut down one by one. Valkyries carried off the dead, but Valoric was only mortally wounded, and when the valkyrie Fey tried to take him to Valhalla he was not able to make it, instead falling through a time warp to the 1940s. Valoric saw a German brigade, and attacked them. The U.S. army was impressed by his courage and savagery in battle, and he was recruited as a soldier, being given the name Viking Commando, even though his tribe was actually ancestral to the Vikings. The Commando made a huge impact in the war, but it unknown whether he survived or not.
