Powers: The Whip was a skilled fighter and horseman and an expert with a whip.

History: Rod Gaynor visited Seguro and unearthed the history of Don Fernando Suarez, who protected the Mexican populace from oppression as the masked hero the Whip during the 19th Century. Gaynor was inspired to take on the identity of the Whip and continue Suarez' fight against oppression. The Whip later served as a member of the All-Star Squadron.

The Whip disappeared after 1944. His history after this point is thus far unrecorded.
