(Impulse #14, 15) - White Lightning returned to Manchester to steal the legendary Eye of God cross, on loan to the Manchester University Library. Impulse and the police were in full force when they learned she was coming, and Trickster was also after the Eye. Trickster got the Eye, and after double-crossing Lord Manny the First, the crimelord who'd forced him to steal it, he had Lightning pose as a police officer and steal the Eye again. Together they returned the Eye to the Chevano Monastery, and Trickster admitted it was he that stole the Eye from them years ago, and he wanted to make amends.

(Impulse #38) - Max Mercury made a plea to any supervillain living in Manchester to help him save the town from a flood, and White Lightning and her mother volunteered to help. She even saved Impulse from drowning in the process of helping the town.
