Powers: Adam Lamb had a split personality, and turned into the maniacal Wolf at the stroke of midnight. Wolf was a brutal combatant armed with a cane. He was a criminal mastermind with a number of thugs at his disposal.History: (Batman I #2) - Adam Lamb was a meek museum curator who got his vicarious kicks reading crime novels, wand his favorite was “The Crime Master.” One night at the museum he fell down a flight of steps and suffered a serious head injury. He awoke staring at his crime novel, and his new criminal personality Wolf was born. Wolf clubbed a man to death, and when Lamb awoke he remembered it as a dream. The psychological Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde turned into Wolf every night at midnight, and formed a mob to act out the crimes written about in “The Crime Master.” The mob ran afoul of Batman, who put them away. He deduced Wolf’s identity, and confronted him at the museum. After a scuffle Wolf again fell down the flight of stairs, this time breaking his neck. His Lamb persona resurfaced, and with his dying words he explained what happened to him, and begged Batman not to hate him for his madness.
Due to the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wolf's existence was erased from DC continuity.
