Powers: Yankee Poodle could generate blue stars from her right hand that repelled objects, and red and white stripes from her left hand that attracted objects. By firing them together she could create a destructive blast of energy.History: The villainous Starro launched a meteor at Earth, but Superman intercepted it, shattering it into six pieces. The six pieces entered the dimension of Earth-C, populated entirely by anthropomorphic funny animals. One shard landed near reporter Rova Barkitt, giving her superpowers, and she became the superhero Yankee Poodle. Poodle and the other newly empowered animals banded together as the Zoo Crew and defeated Starro.
(Teen Titans III #30 (fb, BTS) - President Mallard Fillmore pressured Poodle and the Zoo Crew into revealing their secret identities, but they refused. The team was driven underground, and later disbanded when Captain Carrot turned himself over to the authorities after killing Armordillo, who murdered Carrie Carrot. Poodle was arrested and convicted on an assassination attempt on Fillmore, but Little Cheese, acting as her lawyer, made appeals for her.
(Teen Titans III #30, 31) -Little Cheese was murdered, and crumbs from a super-powered carrot were found at the scene, implicating Captain Carrot. Poodle broke out of the pound at Pelican Bay, and the Zoo Crew reformed to find Cheese's murderer. American Eagle joined the Crew, and forced Captain Carrot out of retirement to clear his name. The Crew was led to Dark Alley, who was posing as Alley-Kat-Abra, and learned she'd sold the Zoo Crew's secrets to president Fillmore and framed Poodle for her assassination attempt on the President. She killed Cheese to keep him quit after he found her out, and when Fastback learned what she did, and she sent him 100 years into the future. After Alley was arrested the Crew went into the future to rescue Fastback.
