Michael Rosenbaum

Michael Rosenbaum always considered himself a New Yorker even though he was raised in Indiana, and he is able to live out these New York roots through his role on the Manhattan-based comedy series "Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane."

During high school, Rosenbaum excelled in drama classes but didn’t have what he describes as "the chutzpah" to perform on stage until college. Once hooked, he took on lead roles in college stage productions such as "The Heidi Chronicles" while pursuing a theater degree at Western Kentucky University and doing summer stock in North Carolina.

Upon graduation with a degree in mass communications and theater, he packed his bags and headed for New York to pursue acting. He quickly landed roles in off-Broadway productions and small independent films, and soon segued into regular appearances on "Late Night with Conan O’Brien" in a sketch called "The Amsterdam Kids."

Most recently, he starred in the big-screen thriller "Urban Legend" and also appeared in the Warner Bros. Feature film "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Kevin Spacey and John Cusack.

Born in Oceanside, Long Island, Rosenbaum was raised largely in Newburgh, Ind. This self-described "fanatical" ice hockey player and fan also enjoys watching movies and playing with his full-size Galaga video game.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
