Miglet's Ballet Lesson (con't)
by Arden Davidson (C) 1998
"What can I do?" Miglet sadly asked,
afraid all hope was lost.
"I want to fly with perfect grace
no matter what the cost."
"I'm glad you said that", Kallie laughed,
"'cause I must confess that due to
the nature of your problem,
you will have to wear this tutu.
"Put this on", she told her friend
who gazed at her in awe.
"You're kidding, right?
I can't wear that! There ought to be a law!"
"But this will help you with your grace.
I promise you it's true.
If I wear mine, will you give in
and wear your tutu too?"
"Okay, if you insist.
I didn't come this far to bicker.
But Kallie, I must warn you...
not the slightest little snicker!"
"Ballet is nothing to laugh at, Miglet.
It's the best way to learn grace."
So Miglet put the tutu on,
then spun about the place.
