Miglet's Ballet Lesson (con't)
by Arden Davidson (C) 1998
He followed Kallie's orders
and they danced the day away.
He piroutted, jumped and twirled
and did one small plie.
"Watch this, Kallie, I keep jumping
better, taller, higher!
I think I'm pretty good
at...YOOOWWWWW!
My tail feather's on fire!"
"You backed into the fireplace,
you've got to be more cautious.
Watching you stumble and twirl around
is starting to make me nauseous."
"I hate to interrupt, my friend.
It's impolite, somehow.
But in case you haven't noticed,
I could use some water, NOW!!
"Oops, sorry. Your tail's still aflame.
I cannot believe I forgot.
It must be quite uncomfortable,
and just a tad bit hot!"
"Kallie, NOW! Good gracious."
"Oh alright. You wait right here."
Kallie came back in holding a bucket
which she promplty tossed right at his rear.
