The very first rent-a-kid I had was Amber. Because of Amber I have many kids
that I call my rent-a-kids to this day.. I met her and her family when she was at the
age of 5. She was as cute as a button and I fell in love with her at that very moment. I
became friends with Amber's Mother, Debbie. We have a lasting friendship and a
trusting one. Debbie seen that the love we had for Amber was shared and she
allowed me to be her daughters second mom. I was proud to be honered with this
and I treasure it always. I have watched Amber go through boo boo's on her knees
with pigtails and bubble gum. To a pre-teen with interest in boys... Into a young lady
all pretty and mature. Through dances and dolls I have been there. Through hard
times and good times .From marriage. having a baby , to graduation and now college.
I have great faith in my rent-a-kid. As always I was in the family discussions on what
to do and what was best. Now Amber is all grown up. She has a husband and a child
of her own. She has always been a close part in all our family doings, such as Silver
Dollar City, camping, swimming and such. I looked for her when it was time to get
ready for school at times through out the years. helped to heal her broken heart with
boys as she dated and to hug her with all my love when it was needed. I have trusted
in Amber with babysitting my younger children when she was only 12 years old. I
knew that she loved the kids as her own family and would let no harm come to them.
