I wrote it for a friend that I have had for 14 years. Her daughter lost a baby in her 6th month of pregnancy and I couldn't do a thing to help their sadness so I wrote this poem for them. I hope you like it.

A Prayer for You

Keep your children strong Lord,
please hold their hearts together.
The anguish that overtakes their lives,
is so hard to bare.

Memories of a precious one,
not on this earth but in your
arms in heaven.

Lord endure their painful emptyness
and let your love soothe their minds
to release their hearts of sadness.

I say this little prayer to you knowing
peace can be found in your
mercy and grace.
Help them to find the rainbow rays
of warmth upon their face.

Lord unite this family with compassion,
nurture and heal their wounds
and help them to overcome this childless mothers wounds.
Send Angels to lift their spirits,
with a blessing from above.
This prayer I ask that binds
Just add a little memory of baby
in their minds.
