,
I'd like to take a few minutes now and introduce you our family.
Gordon has just come in off the farm and he is the
wonderful husband that God has enabled me to marry.
I love him dearly and I feel blessed to have him.
My desire for Gordon is to see
God's will in his
life and to see him grow in God. Gordon is also a
wonderful father and this is really special.
Gordon didn't marry until he was 36 years old
and with also being a twin (his twin dying at 5hrs)
this has been a real blessing to him. Gordon was born and bred
on the farm and he has lovely Christian parents.
This is
an advantage for us, to share the same belief in God
and to be able to bring our children up in Him.
THANKYOU GORDON FOR THE WONDERFUL HUSBAND
THAT YOU ARE AND I LOVE YOU HEAPS
Let us walk down to the corner, about 200 metres
and we'll see a nearly empty school bus. But wait,
who is this coming bounding towards us? It's Susan, returning home
from a day at school,
ready to share her day with us.
Susan is five and a half and is becoming quite "creative"
in her own way. She loves to do things with
her hands and I am looking forward to
moulding and guiding this
talent.
Next we can hear "Can I come with you Dad?"
Reuben is four and a half and loves going with
Dad. This is really special for them
and I pray that they will have a lovely father/son
relationship.
Reuben has just started one day a week day care,
just to have time without Mum before school in March.
I want him at home though and am trying to utilised the
time as abled.
Reuben loves outdoors, but he also loves
to help Mum,
so that's nice.
Isabel is two and a half and is different again
We praise God for the differences in our children
and for us as parents this is challenging!!
Isabel loves to try and keep up with the older ones,
but she can also be a big help for Mum.
She also likes going with Dad when she can.
Esther is nearly fifteen months and has just "hit",
the walking stage. She is loving this and so are
the others!! It took a few reminders
for the older ones to
let her walk, but now they are fine.
She loves!! outside and I must say, it's a priviledge to be able to
let the children outside freely. Esther is trying to say words
too and this is neat.
We also have another baby on the way and this
is exciting. The children are really excited
about this and ask lots of questions. This event, is
meant to happen in December, so you can imagine a busy
time
in between with lambing etc.
I had better not forget about myself!! I am a fulltime wife and mother
and I love it. The greatest thing in my life
is God and to grow in Him. My prayer is to see our children
saved and going on for the Lord too.
I
was born into a Christian home, and I spent most of my life in the
"city". I trained as a nurse and that's how Gordon and I met.
I love baking when I get time, letter writing, music
( I play the violin and piano). I love,
meeting
new people and I am really enjoying the net
especially when I can use it for God.
Lastly, here's a fairly recent photo of us for you to enjoy.
Thankyou for getting to know us better, and we look forward
to getting to know you.
