1992- Recommended Black Belt, Assistant Instructor to Master Cilff Guldi. Certified Referee by the USTU

July - Coached Athletes at the United States TaeKwonDo Union’s Jr. Olympics.

August- Opened own TaeKwonDo School.
September- member of USTU Arkansas State Team; Placed 2nd at the Championships.

Jan.-Became USTU Arkansas State President
May-Helped found Northwest Arkansas TaeKwonDo Competitors fund.(a Non-profit Organization that helps athletes with the cost of attending National Jr. or Sr.Olympics)
July- Coached Athletes at the United States TaeKwonDo Union’s Jr. Olympics.
November 5- tested under GrandMaster Won; Certified 3rd Dan Black Belt by the WTF, Kukkiwon, Korea
September 20- received Letter of Reward for efforts in training and promotion of TKD by Lee Kyo Yoon President Tae Kwon Do, Han Moo Kwan, Central Gymnasium Korea Tae Kwon Do Association.

1998- May-Director and Host of the USTU Arkansas State Championships.

2000- April 26-Director and Host of the USTU Arkansas State Championships.
May 5- tested for 4th Dan Black Belt Under GrandMaster Joe Giampietro; certified by The United States National Taekwondo Federation.
Director and Host of the USTU Arkansas State Championships.
Appointed as a TaeKwonDo Delegate to the 2000 OLYMPIC Games held in Sydney Australia.(He was unable to attend)
July- Coached Athletes at the United States TaeKwonDo Union’s Jr. Olympics.
December 5- Certification: 4th Dan Black Belt by the WTF, Kukkiwon, Korea.

2001- April 17-Director and Host of the USTU Arkansas State Championships.
December 31- time was up as USTU Arkansas State President(served 5 years as Ar. State President)

2003- Attained 5th dan Black belt under Grand Master VU

2006- Moved to GA with job(had to leave TaeKwonDo family in AR)- taught TKD at home.

2008- Moved to South Carolina, Teaches Private lessons.

2012- Master Chaffin teaches privately in Columbia, South Carolina.
