And a South African Hotel - my room was through the right hand door.
Now an Argentinean room.
This room had the noisiest air conditioning unit I have ever met. To get the room cool you switched it on and then left the room for a few hours. On your return (the room was easy to find, it sounded like someone was playing the violin, very badly, inside), you switched it off and went to bed.
In the morning you awoke covered in perspiration.
