John M and Analiza Pyeatt Aston

Analizo "Ann" Pyeatt was the daughter of James Benton Pyeatt and Margaret Jane Warren Pyeatt. She was born January 14, 1857 in San Saba County, Texas, and died sometime after 1920 (perhaps in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas). Ann married John M Aston who was the son of Samuel M and Jane Aston and who died before 1920.

Their children are as follows:

Annie's father, James Pyeatt, disappears from the San Saba tax rolls in 1878 which is not surprising as his family and the Astons apparently moved by the 1880 census, to 'Cottonwood Ranch/Oak Valley' in ED 190 in Nolan County, Texas, and appeared as follows: This family was enumerated on pg 577 next door to James and Margaret Pyeatt with their youngest children ages 14 to 4. Living with the Astons were; Annie's brother, Andrew Lafayete Pyeatt; (presumably) one of Margaret's nephews or relatives, John Warren; and John's brothers, Henry J Aston and George W Aston.

By the 1920 census, Annie was living with her daughter, Nettie, and family in District 263, Abilene, Taylor County, Texas as follows:

This family was enumerated #1540/524/177/213 Sixth Street on sheet 10B (Ancestry.com image 20/56). I found Annie's daughter, Aggie, and family in District 115, Wagon Mound, Mora County, New Mexico, in 1920 as follows:

This family was enumerated #199/165 pg 104A (Ancestry.com image 15/18)}.
