David A Piatt and Mary E Culver
David Alexander Piatt was born December 11, 1870, in Westbrookville, Mamakating Township, Sullivan County, New York, to William Lewis Piatt (1834-1918) and Minnie Woods (1843-1871). He died June 17, 1939, in Westbrookville, Mamakating Township, Sullivan County, New York. He was a weaver at Blanket Mill. David married on November 20, 1893, in Westbrookville, Mamakating Township, Sullivan County, New York, Mary Estella Culver who was born in 1873 and died in 1913. Both are buried in the
Westbrookville Cemetery, Westbrookville, Sullivan County, New York, near George and Gertrude Booth Culver who are the right age to be Mary's parents. I note that this cemetery is given as being in Orange County, New York, while the research lists Sullivan County, New York. I don't doubt that it is one of those 'county line' places.
David and Mary had the following known children:
- Gladys Piatt b: 1899
- Ellsworth Piatt b: 1894 d: 1980
- Franklin Harrison Piatt b: 1902 d: 1966
- Lloyd Piatt b: 1905 d: 1972
- Marion Piatt b: 1896 d: 1978
