Emeline Parnecy Pyatt was born c1847 in Illinois (probably Montgomery County) to Cornelius and Mary Ann Harris Pyatt. She married Novembwe 26, 1868, in Fayette County, Illinois, Levi West who was born c1846 in Fayette County, Illinois.
Emeline had lived with her parents in Montgomery County, Illinois through the 1860 census. Before the 1870 census she was married and living in Fayette County while her mother and siblings had moved to Bond County, Illinois. Emeline and Levi's family appeared as follows in Sharon Township, Fayette County, Illinois:

This family was enumerated #56/56 on page 752. A few houses away on page 751 was Mary Ann West age 58 born Maryland. She lived with George W McKinney who was aged 40 and born in Illinois. He also had a child (Benjamin) in the household. I believe that the Milburn Pyatt in Ramsey Township, Fayette County, Illinois is her father's brother. I am not sure how Minda Pyatt who is institutionalized in Sharon Township fits into the family.

This family was enumerated #269/272 on page 92. Living at #270 was Mary A West age 67 born MD (father/mother born VA). Living at #268 was George McKinney with a second wife, Benjamin and three young children.
