He is buried in an unmarked grave in the Macedonia Cemetery in Ripley County, Missouri. James G was married 2 Apr 1898 in Ripley County, MO, to Safronia Hixon.

After James died, Frona married Charles A Malone and is buried in the Bennett Cemetery in Ripley County, Missouri.
