The family was enumerated #36 on 10 Aug 1850 (ancestry image 15/150). Their neighbors were #31 Adison McClain, #32 William Nash, #33 James Streete, #34 William Gaston, #35 Phebe Griffeth (age 60), #37 Milton Paden, #38 Margarett Paden, #39 William Curlen, and #40 Phillip Curlen. Harriett's brothers, Cornelius Pyatt and Henry Pyatt, were enumerated later in the same district at #864 and #865.
By the 1860 census, Harriet had died. Harriett's sister, Elizabeth Wright, had died in 1855 and we find her two children being raised by Harriett's widowed husband in Hillsboro, Montgomery County, Illinois, as follows:
This family was enumerated #240/249 on 8 Jun 1860 (ancestry image 34/358). (T8R4). Their neighbors were #238/247 Wm Stevenson, #238/248 William McAdams, #240 Wm Alterbury, #241 Wm T Dougherty, and #243 Jacob Smith.
