John Harrell Pyeatt was born August 17, 1860 in Vineyard Twp, Washington County, Arkansas, to William Stevenson Pyeatt and Maryann May Johnson. He died October 7, 1930, in Custer, Custer County, Oklahoma. John married first Serena Young who was born March 13, 1865, to Andrew Jackson Young and Dicy Ann Smith and died May 4, 1898.

John must have married for a second time to Livvie ? who was born c1877 in Missouri as we find him on the 1920 census in Custer County, Oklahoma, as follows:

Pyeatt, Livvie (wife) age 43 born MO Pyeatt, Pauline (daughter) age 16 born OK
Pyeatt, Harrell (son) age 13 born OK (this family enumerated 21/37/7/8: Main Street, Custer)
Living nearby is son, Lemuel and family:
- Pyeatt, Lemuel age 24 born OK
- Pyeatt, Lola (wife) age 25 born MO
- Pyeatt, Bettie Lou (daughter) age 1 9/12 born OK (this family enumerated 21/37/4/83: Cedar Street, Custer)
Depending on when John remarried, some of the children might belong to Livvie. I do not have the abstract of her '# of children born/# still living' from the 1920 census.

- Pyeatt, Livvie C (wife) age 54 born Missouri / married 25 years / father born PA/mother born MO
