John Nelson Piatt and Tacy Jane ? of Ohio
John Nelson Piatt was born September 26, 1850, according to his death certificate. John's tombstone lists his birth as 1846 (there is a GAR marker at John's gravesite). He died in Sugar Creek, Ohio, April 26, 1930 and is buried in Rock Hill Cemetery. John married Tacey Jane (she used her middle name) and they had 10 children.

- Thomas Lester Piatt born OH (fifth child)
All other children were born in Ohio.
This might seem to imply a connection between this family and William Piatt and Ella Brown/Precious Keene.
