Robert A and Margarett C Pyeatt Meyers
Margarett Christine Pyeatt was born May 28, 1856 to Andrew J and Miranda Jane Tennant Pyeatt. Miranda was the daughter of Thomas H and Christine Hacker Tennant. Her sister, Ada, was married to Andrew's brother, John Pyeatt and their half sister, Henrietta Josephine Tennant (her mother was Clarissa White) was married to Andrew and John's newphew Peter C Pyeatt (son of Jacob Preston Pyeatt and Amelia Ellen Crozier. At least two of these families eventually left Washington County, Arkansas, (where Margarett was probably born) and went to Texas. Andrew and Miranda were said to have lived in Moody, Texas. Margaret 'Christine' Pyeatt was married to Robert A Myers and she died May 5, 1940. Robert was born in November of 1838 (headstone reads 1841) in Jackson County, Tennessee to John and Nancy White Myers and died March 10, 1916, in Jones County, Texas. Both Robert and Christine are buried in the Mt Hope Cemetery, Jones County, Texas.
