Nathan and Martha Pyeatt (Kentucky, Indiana)

Nathan Pyeatt was born before 1790 and died 1812 in Illinois. He married c1806 (probably Warren County, Kentucky) to Martha ? who was born December 11, 1788, probably in Warren County, Kentucky, and died December 29, 1863, probably in Anderson Township, Warrick County, Indiana. Her headstone inscription in the Davis-Youngblood Cemetery in Warrick County, Indiana, reads: Martha Harger b. Dec 11 1788 d. Dec 20 1863 Mother of N. Pyeatt and J Huberd. After Nathan's death in 1812, Martha remarried to Melachi Huberd and then, evidently, to a Harger. This is the only Hubbard connection found to explain the 'Hubbard' naming tradition (although it occurred after the naming began - indicating a previous family tie.)

Nathan and Martha had one child known to me. Nathan Hubbard Pyeatt was born November 25, 1807, Warren County, Kentucky and died July 24, 1879, on his farm near Yankeetown, Warrick County, Indiana. He is buried Davis-Youngblood Cemetery, Warrick County, Indiana. Nathan Jr married January 5, 1830, in Sumner County, Tennesse, Martha Ann Boren who was born January 12, 1812 in Sumner County, Tennessee and who died September 8, 1886, in Warrick County, Indiana, and is buried Davis-Youngblood Cemetery, Warrick County, Indiana.

Nathan and Martha Boren Pyeatt had the following known children:
