William and Emily had one known child:
On Rootsweb (http://www.rootsweb.com/~mostone/photo/asher/194.html) is a photo that might be the children of William T and Mattie Pyeatt Stone.
William had children from a first marriage. They relocated to Jay, Oklahoma, where William died. Also moving with them were George C Stone and Sarah Stone. At the time of his death, William was married to Lydia ?.
Evidently, William's first wife, Emily, died sometime between 1876 when Mattie J was born and when William married second on August 4, 1879, in Stone County, Missouri, Polly Baize who was born June 3, 1860, in Missouri. Polly died (probably in Stone County, Missouri) on February 20, 1906, and is buried in the Yocum Pond Cemetery.
William and Polly had the following known children:
William was born and lived in Jefferson County, Missouri, near much of his father's family. Sometime after 1850 he moved with his family to Bates County, Missouri and appears there on the 1860 census. By 1870 the family removed to Stone County where William appears to have lived most of his remaining years. According to Jean Vail, William and his brother Frederick were involved in the Civil War from Bates County, Missouri.
By 1880 William appeared on the Stone County, Missouri 1880 census as follows:
On the 1900 census, William and family appeared in Flat Creek Township, Stone County, Missouri, as follows:
This family was enumerated #107/122/1/37. I need to examine their close neighbors for their married daughters.
I believe William is the William C Pyeatt born c1849 MO who appears on the 1910 census of Aurora Township, Lawrence County, Missouri.
Somehow William ended up in Taney County. His informant, C. O. Cox knew him well enough to know his middle name, but, not his birthdate or any other information about his family.
William's death certificate information is as follows:
