He married in Fountain County, Indiana, March 24, 1840, Mary Gay who was born c1817 in Ohio (or Virginia) and who died September 4, 1882, Grants Pass, Josephine Co, Oregon. Both are buried in the Old
Pioneer or Croxton Cemetery in Josephine County, OR.
