Each Federal census asked different information of the population and became more detailed in later years. 1850 was the first census to enumerate each person in the household by name. 1880 was the first census to inquire as to the subjects parent's birthplace. These abstracts will be incomplete and may contain errors and therefore must be used only as an aid to find the original entry.
