My MARTIN search is not very far along. I know that James Monroe Alexander (Alec) MARTIN was born in 1868 in AR. His parents were Alsey MARTIN and Artemissa SUTTERFIELD or possibly BREWER. He married Mary Ann WATKINS in 1894. She was born in 1877 in AR, her father, Bud WATKINS was born in IL and her mother, Jane BARNES, was born in AR. She had a brother named Johnny WATKINS, also known as Uncle Josh to family. James and Mary raised their family in Judsonia, AR.
