When moments effect our moods is it due to emotion

Most likely it is to do with life's devotion

Our purpose to pursue those things we want

But the treasure's in life can never be bought

A smile that is given shines on our face

can never cause frown lines or look out of place

A gesture of friendship, a simple handshake

Start new beginnings as a friend we can make

A tear has many faces as hurt, joy, happiness and pain

and brings forth emotions for us to experience over again

A touch, a caress can be sensual or calming to feel

or expressive in manner as a switch is real

Yet the worst, best is that of a single word

for it is the one that can only be heard

serving us all thru feelings no matter how down

even when we can seem to get off the ground

for the word is beauty and speaks of great love

and lifts us higher and higher than the stars up above

My heart knows all these things and gives applause

to the little things in life that we treasure, just because
