"Follow the Mind"
Exercising thoughts can create or deplete mental stress
To prove this point, let's follow the mind, do a simple test
By virtue, we act on impulse, stimuli to the brain
Food for thought is our battery, it never seems to drain
It control's our every action of physical and mental deed
It has no limitations but those we choose to heed
Confines and restrictions are sorted without restraint
Keeps us in our place of who we are and who we ain't
Our character is shown to others by what we say or do
Our mind can even change this trait, if we "think" it through
The path that we all follow comes from deep within
It's sorted, filed and categorized thru our processor's super bin
Emotions control a major part of the brain's daily quest
Good or bad, happy or sad it keeps us sane at best
But when we have problems and life is full of those
We strive a little harder, keeps us on our toes
l could write these lines forever, showing how the brain is who we are
But my purpose is to test your mind, not gaze upon a star
So if my rhymes make sense to you, then l have made a special bond
With a person of normal mental thought, it means your not a "BLONDE."
This poem of thought not written, to stereotype or imply
It only proves that brain cells, do have a place to die
