Alone at last, with the rays of beauty

Brightness, exposed from the end of its duty

Setting again in its grandeur at dust

The evening has ended, sleep is a must

Colors abounding in gold, orange and red

Stirring softly from the dark blue of night, just before bed

Knowing that morning will again be its time

Out shining the moon, so this line can rhyme

Bringing rays of warmth into a new day

Smiling upon us all as we go our on way

Daily this cycle continues its quest

Giving to us each day its brightest, its best

But you my friend, shine brighter to me
