I started taking flying lesson's for my Private Pilot's liscense when I was stationed at Torrejon AFB near Madrid in 1969 and went from Control line to RC Planes at about the same time. I've been in and out of RC flying off and on now for almost 30 years. I worked at Advance Hobbies in Monticello, Arkansas for 3 year's and taught many people to fly. We now have a very nice 400 ft paved runway at Lake Monticello. I'm temporarily out of all flying right now due to an Ultralight crash in which I sustained two broken leg's and a crushed heel. But it's still in my blood and hope to get back into it again soon. I love the big birds mostly and I have a Curtis Robin 99 with an old 8 lb Kiorwitz gas engine in it. It weighs about 25lbs and I have a Barbie Doll in it for the Pilot.
