Do you ever feel you`ve done something wrong and you feel God won`t take you back? Well if you look at St. Augustine`s life you will see that no matter how far you wander away from God he will always take you back.

Throughout the first 30 years of Augustine`s life, he committed many sins and believed in many alternative beliefs. However he was brought back to God by his mother`s prayers and his searching to fill the emptiness inside of him. Just like many of us today he looked for different objects and beliefs to fill the void inside of him. But without God in his life the voids were never filled. He finally found the answer to his problem when he began to read Scripture and found who the one, true God was.

He grew strong in his faith and soon became baptized and a full Catholic in the Church. He then began to give to the poor and his actions of love and kindness soon brought him to be a bishop.

So no matter how far you wander from God he is always ready to take you back. Like Augustine who went from having no faith to becoming a bishop, you too can grow in God`s love and power.

True faith is really cool.
