The Zeta Xi Chapter is located on the campus of Hampton University in Hampton , VA. It was chartered March 29, 1975. By Seven wonderful women. These ladies were Soror Deborrah Smith, Soror Ellen Hilton, Soror Marilyn JoAnn Carter, Soror Lafonda Bridgeworth, Soror Theresa Terry, Soror Michelle Kim Griggs, and Soror Ruth Scott. The Zeta Xi chapter became inactive in 1985. It was then reactivated Febrauary 20, 1993 by Two phenomenal sorors. These Ladies were Soror Joy Johnson and Soror Michelle Waddell. Since then Zeta Xi has been continuing the legacy two steps at a time with a few more steps in between.
