The following words came from W.Axl Rose, himself, at the concert in
Chicago, ILL on
4/9/92. This is not another article speculating what Axl said, because I
watched it on videotape with my own eyes. This page is dedicated to those that have suffered at the hands of others!
This has to do with sexual abuse, drugs, and the whole 'bullshit "attitude
people have about being" cool "!

Any of you, uh, read the latest Rolling Stone? I was on the phone a long
time last night and a friend of mine was telling me how ---- (Axl stops talking and directs
this next comment to the audience) ---------
SHUT THE FUCK UP! Ohhh, Axl, cool, metal dude, rock-n-roll, party,
cocaine,
yeah......
I AIN'T HERE FOR THAT !!
Anyway, a friend was telling me that my
family
has taken offense to what I said in the magazine. It's a shame. (they
say)
His mother can't even go out of the house now. It was amazing my mother
could go out of the house before knowing the shit she fuckin knew!!
And, why is he talking about this? (Axl asks the audience) Cause it might not have
happened to you, but it may have happened to the 2 or 3 people standing
going to come back and
haunt them when they hit about the age of 25! And, then you gotta find your
way, and climb your way out of what you "thought" was your life!
But, it looks more like a fuckin car wreck in your head that no one
told
you about because the 'family" doesn't want to have to be embarrassed about
these things coming out. We just shouldn't have to deal with this
publicly,
then were probably not going to deal with the bullshit at all! And I bet
that THEY like it that way!
I'm not a qualified therapist. I don't
know a lot of shit about this, but I do know that this is the 90's! And I
know that if were going to make it another 50 years on this planet we gotta
FUCKIN CHANGE OUR SHIT NOW!!!
And, there'ss a lot of motherfuckers that don't want that shit to be
changed! Cause that's going to dig up their crap! The parents who done
fucked up their kids through their whole fuckin lives, and they are about
40
or 50, and think it's cool!
FUCK THAT SHIT! And, I'm the last

person who they thought would be climbing up their ass to tell them about
it!
But see for me.....it ain't about doing fuckin cocaine. It ain't about how
much vodka I drink, or how much I can drink someone under the table! It
ain't about what a "macho man/rock-n-roller" I can be!

Anyway, there are those in my family that
they plan that they are going to get revenge, because it was a terrible

who those GNR think they are cool and shit, but I'm cool.

ABOUT ME BEING COOL! IT AIN'T ABOUT YOU BEING COOL! But, what were doing
here tonight is pretty fuckin, cool.
So, if you come out here to be a
critical, judgemental, "FUCK,"
