This concrete slab marks the grave of a child of Earl Hanks. Junior (Cecil Floyd) Talburt helped dig this grave for the Hanks family who lived on the old Murph Brown farm near Old Athens Cemetery at Bennett's River. Roxy Grayham Cotter attended this funeral and has been putting flowers on the grave for many years. I will be trying to establish a date of birth and death (and a name) for this child so that we can put a marker on the grave.

It is located in the lower right side of the cemetery to the right of the gate. It is also directly in front of and to the left side of the pavilion in Fluty Cemetery.
