Theodore Fluty was born in Tennessee and died December 29, 1900 at the age of 74 years 10 months and 4 days. Using the 8870 dating formula, his date of birth is established as February 25, 1826. Theodore and many of his are buried in the Fluty Cemetery.
T.C. Fluty, as he was known, was a captain in the Civil War (Confederate) and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was in Arkansas before 1857 since son, William H Fluty, was born in Arkansas.
