This is called R.I.P. Aussi.
This picture was drawn by Jenny after Darryl`s pet rat Aussi was callously murdered by Qld Pigs who raided a party when they were teenagers (please read his memorial underneath).
She also wrote this poem to go with the picture which we found written on the back of another picture which she had stickytaped to yet another picture as she ran out of pages in her art book.
In Loving Memory of Aussi.
Aussi was our family pet
and one we`re never likely to forget.
He was so spoiled,
yet ever so loyal.
He roamed the house,
like an ordinary mouse.
But when he'd smell dinner,
he'd wait for it to simmer,
then jump on your plate,
never a minute too late.
Then on a full belly,
he'd watch with us some telly.
He was so cheeky,
and ever so sneaky,
he'd run up your top,
and there he would plop.
He was a `been there-done that',
well travelled rat.
We took him everywhere,
and the people would stare,
but we didn't care.
we take him to the pub,
and the people would sneer,
but he didn't care,
He'd run across the table,
and jumpin their beer.
He was a big muscley rat,
which in his old age was turning to fat.
We had him for many years,
his death cause many tears.
So to that cop(Pig) that killed him,
I wish you dead.
And if I ever see you,
I'll spit on your head.
