Autumn Leaves

The autumn leaves have
fallen from the trees,
and have blown away,
since that day
we were together
under the old oak tree.
I remember our kisses
that day you made
love to me.
Winds have blown away
the years, but the
old tree still stands,
as does my love for you.
Memories never fading.
For in my heart and soul
we are still
there embracing.
The leaves fell upon
our faces as we
whispered "I love you"
in each other's ears.
Like songs of yesterdays
gone by, and many
tears that have fallen
since then.
Oh, Golden Autumn,
Sad Lady of regret.
Shine upon our faces
once more in a
future Paradise, since your
Autumn Leaves have withered
away my Hope.
to ever have you
in my arms again.
Leaves of red and gold
fall upon my face again.
