ISAAC AND REBEKAH

Isaac, I have waited for ions and ions of time.
Through many tunnels of darkness and light. Through many galaxies of stars.

Across the golden streets and back again. Standing upon the
moon, gazing, searching for you again.

Isaac, my beloved, I long for you and ache. Crying out your
name at each sunrise and falling rain. Calling across the ocean
waves and seas to you. Wandering from place to place in search,
yearning for your love again.

My heart is empty, you are my other half, my soul-mate of life.
Longing to be fulfilled with your gentle touch.
I love you so much.
Can you feel it too? The pain of separation?

Isaac, my Isaac, where are you?
Believing you will come again
to fetch me to your side, to be your bride.
Isaac ny beloved,
I am waiting beyond the rainbow, waiting for you.

Isaac, my beloved I can see you coming with your caravan,
the camel's hoofs upon the sand carrying you back to me,
approaching from a distant land.

My eyes are weary, is it really you?
Oh, Isaac , Isaac my love, soon we will embrace.
The pain of waiting will have no trace;
just once more to hold you again. Isaac, oh Isaac,
I thank you for loving me.
You are my destiny.
